West Hoppyland Lodges - an excellent place to stay, friendly and helpful owners. Lots of places to visit in the area - well located for country walks and adventures in the forest, and there are interesting places to visit within a short drive and some lovely market towns. The location is perfect for enjoying beautiful views over the countryside. There are also good eating places around the area. This is definitely a place I would be happy to go back to, and have recommended/sent people to stay here too, an ideal location for outdoor pursuits especially with the forest being literally on the doorstep.
Lovely basic chalet with everything you need for self catering set in idyllic countryside just a 5 minute walk from hamstley forest and all its attractions. Carol the host was very welcoming and helpful even bringing a Shetland pony to our chalet for my two children to groom even taking them through the stages of grooming. Would recommend a stay to anyone who is wanting a nice quite break or a fun packed countryside activity weekend
